About the Job
As a Technical Sales Engineer (Product Specialist), you will play a key role in strengthening the company’s market position within the F&B sector. Combining your technical knowledge and commercial skills, you’ll identify customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and provide expert consultation to ensure the delivery of high-quality industrial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage existing customer accounts and actively develop new opportunities within the F&B market
- Identify client needs and provide consultative technical solutions aligned with operational requirements
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training for customers and partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute marketing campaigns and manage project pipelines
- Act as a technical advisor and product advocate for industrial solutions across assigned territories
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and industry events to enhance market visibility
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree or Diploma in Chemical, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Experience in the Food & Beverage industry or handling products/services related to F&B is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical sales, preferably in industrial equipment, instrumentation, or process control
- Strong understanding of sensors, transmitters, and communication protocols (fieldbus, TCP/IP, analog/digital signals)
- Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work independently
- Willing to travel within Malaysia and possess a valid driving license
