About the Job
This role is a strategic individual contributor position designed to drive the growth of our aluminium roofing division within the Malaysian market. You will be responsible for identifying and securing large-scale projects through technical specifications and tender management.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and expand sales for premium aluminium roofing products specifically within the Malaysia market.
- Identify and secure new construction projects through proactive involvement in specification, tender, and direct sales channels.
Build and maintain robust relationships with architects, consultants, developers, and main contractors.
Conduct high-level product presentations and technical discussions to influence project decision-makers.
Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends to provide strategic pricing and positioning insights.
Prepare detailed quotations and follow up diligently to ensure successful project conversions.
Collaborate with internal production and technical teams to ensure quality assurance and timely delivery for every project.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in metal roofing, building materials, or the steel/aluminium industry.
- Proven track record in lead generation, sales prospecting, and successfully closing high-value deals in a construction context.
Possession of a Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or Quantity Surveying.
Strong established network with Malaysian contractors, architects, and property developers.
Must possess own transport and be willing to travel domestically for site visits and client meetings.
