About the Job
This is a pivotal strategic role designed for a results-oriented professional to spearhead our entry into the metallic cable tray market. You will be responsible for the entire market development lifecycle—from influencing technical specifications with consultants during the design phase to securing high-value contracts with EPCs and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hyperscale and colocation data centre markets.
- Drive product specification and approval with M&E consultants, electrical engineers, and project designers.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with MEP contractors and industrial EPC companies.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, technical proposals, and pricing strategy negotiation.
- Conduct technical presentations and product training for key stakeholders to ensure brand preference.
- Coordinate closely with internal technical teams for accurate quotations, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Build and maintain a robust project pipeline specifically targeting the Johor, Klang Valley, and Penang corridors.
Skills & Experience Required
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in project-based sales within the cable support systems or electrical infrastructure industry.
- Proven track record in securing and managing sales for large-scale data centre or semiconductor manufacturing projects.
Strong existing network of connections with M&E consultants and electrical engineering firms in Malaysia.
Deep understanding of the technical requirements for cable trays, ladders, trunking, and custom support solutions.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites and client offices in Johor, Penang, and the Klang Valley.
